The programmable combination feature allows facilities managers to quickly assign codes for new users, or change codes when an existing locker is reassigned.

The Digilock KPE line is easy to install on new or existing lockers, and accommodates all standard locker mounting holes. Customers find that the KPE is a low-cost solution that quickly delivers value, paying for itself within the first few months of usage by eliminating the hassle and costs associated with lost keys, forgotten combinations, bolt cutters and-most of all-management time.

Accessories

Manager Bypass Key

Manager Bypass Code And Manager Bypass Key (Optional): The Digilock KPE line provides facilities managers with flexible options for managing locks. KPE models can be programmed with a 5-digit manager bypass code, which allows managers to quickly access the lock. Alternatively, managers can opt for a manager bypass key. The manager bypass key is the all-in-one tool for managing the Digilock KPE locks. A simple touch of this key to the key slot automatically opens the lock, and will also provide external power to the lock in case of battery failure. (Anticipated battery life is 3-5 years depending on model and usage).

Programming Key

Programming Key: Much like a smoke alarm, the Digilock KPE emits a chirping noise to alert users when its batteries run low. If the batteries aren't replaced and the lock becomes inoperable, the power jumper provides external power, allowing users to access and replace the batteries in the rear of the unit. A valid key or code is also required to gain access to the lock.

User Key
ADA User Key: The Digilock KPE model fully complies with the American With Disabilities Act guidelines set by the U.S. Access Board. All that's needed to take advantage of this functionality is for the user to be assigned a Digilock ADA User Key. Simply touch the appropriate ADA User Key to the key slot, and the lock opens. Nothing else is required, close the door and the latch shuts securely.
