Since 2021, Digilock has been a Corporate Forest Partner with Trees for All, a nonprofit organization dedicated to planting new forests and supporting restorations worldwide. Their mission strives to help offset CO2 emissions, restore biodiversity, create healthy living environments, and improve the living standards in the countries where they plant trees. Through this partnership, Digilock has proudly donated over 5,000 trees globally and contributed to projects in Costa Rica, Mexico, Friesland, and Brabant.
To reduce the negative impact of single-use plastics on landfills and the natural environment, Digilock has removed 85% of the plastics used in our packaging. Instead of packaging our products in individual boxes, we shifted to pulp trays manufactured from sugarcane waste. Ultimately, this reduced the total shipping volume by 35% and significantly reduced solid waste.
Forgotten, lost, and unused keys harmfully contribute to metal waste in landfills. Unlike traditional locks, our solutions are all managed by an electronic key and designed with keyless access via a keypad code, RFID credential, or smartphone. Eliminating the impact on waste volume and promoting a “greener” future.
Security People Inc. dba Digilock develops its products with the primary goal of minimizing or eliminating the use of non-renewable resources and waste. Digilock products undergo third-party testing to ensure that the products meet RoHS and REACH guidelines.
